Coffre en chêne recouvert de soie bleue présentant cinq panneaux d'or ajouré et ciselé présentant un décor de grands rinceaux d'acanthe parsemés de roses, tulipes, zinnias, narcisses, oeillets et lys, enrichi de petits feuillages de vigne, de fleurettes, de vrilles et de tiges, le tout disposés symétriquement. Quatre pieds en or massif en forme de pattes de lion reposant sur des petits galets ; deux poignées latérales à décor de feuillages.
